Lula and the shame of a country that leaves millions of people unemployed and a country in extreme poverty and enriched at the expense of a country leaving people in misery and starving

The evidence against Lula: 3,000 pieces of evidence, 13 cases and R$ 80 million in bribes
Investigations point to cash payments, bank deposits and real estate - for the former president and for relatives

The most honest soul in Brazil, as the former president has already defined himself, without a trace of fine irony, I may need to consult his lawyers - or his processes. There is, yes, abundant evidence against Lula, scattered in investigations that are taking place in Brasília and Curitiba. They are in lawsuits at the Federal Supreme Court, at the two Federal Courts in Brasília and at the 13th Federal Court in Curitiba, under the care of Judge Sergio Moro. They involve a wide and formidable range of crimes: corruption, money laundering, criminal organization, crimes against the Public Administration, fraud in bids, cartel, influence peddling and obstruction of justice. The Federal Public Ministry, the Federal Police, in addition to agencies such as the Internal Revenue Service and the Federal Court of Accounts, with the helpful help of Swiss and American investigators, have produced, since the beginning of the Lava Jato, terabytes of evidence that directly and indirectly imply Lula in the commission of serious crimes. It is not fortuitous that, even before Odebrecht's complaint, Lula was already a defendant in five lawsuits - three in Brasília and two in Curitiba. It is also not fortuitous that the prosecutors of the Lava Jato task force, after years of investigation, accuse Lula of being the "top commander" of the propinocracy that defined the PT's presidential mandates, defrauding public coffers in billions of reais and ruining the state , especially Petrobras.
