This 7.5x50 cigar features a very dark almost coal black smooth oily wrapper with minimal veins, invisible seams, a great triple cap and a chocolate and manure aroma. First light reveals a tight draw, adequate smoke output with medium bodied flavors of a not smooth but not harsh dry tobacco. The first third holds pretty much the same experience, with a rather short dry peppery earth finish. Overall a fairly plain experience so far with no complexity. 40 minutes in, the ash has dropped off in a 2' chunk, the burn is good and the draw opened up to normal, producing a good amount of relatively thick smooth smoke. Flavors though are unchanged. Near the end of the 2nd third 1:10 min in, flavors finally transition, giving a slightly sweet and smooth earth, with additional pepper following on the finish. Ending at 1:40 the remainder showed no further changes.
