Ohio democrat Marcy Kaptur claims Senator Robert C Byrd is a true democrat

On July 2nd 2010 Ohio democrat Marcy Kaptor stood on the floor of House of Representatives and told members of Congress. A direct quote that she was a democrat however Senator Robert C Byrd was a true democrat.
So am i to assume that since Senator Robert C Byrd was a true democrat. That we know he was a member of the KKK & earned the rank of grand cyclops. That the democrat party & the KKK are one.
Let’s not forget our history & the 13 volumes of congressional testimony of members of the democrat party. Admitted under oath that they aided & helped form the KKK.
The fake democrat paid propaganda media won’t tell you in that dark chapter of American history many white & people of color alike were attacked & murdered by the hands of the KKK.
So does that make the KKK & the democrat party as one?
Let’s also not forget David Duke who ran for a short time as a presidential candidate as a democrat before he ran to the Republican Party then to the reform party whom was rejected by Americans for his ties to the KKK.
