If a man doesn’t work, neither should he eat.

The welfare state, particularly redistribution of wealth by force, has never coincided with the teachings of Christ. We have a responsibility to care for the poor and needy, but we have a responsibility to do it in the same manner that Christ did, by giving of ourselves and our own means… not by stealing from others to “give.”
