A shop in Silwan was torn down after Israeli authorities claimed it was built without a permit

Israeli forces reportedly destroyed a commercial facility in Silwan. Several people who had attempted to intervene were arrested. Shortly before, an Israeli court order declared 13 houses of a neighbourhood in Silwan illegal and gave the residents a few days to demolish their own properties.
