Showers and storms roll in today with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Some of these thunderstorms could produce torrential downpours of 1/4" to 1/2", alongside gusty winds. Wednesday has a lot more sunshine on tap with chances for a scattered shower and rumble of thunder slightly possible. Another cool down arrives Thursday and Friday, with highs in the lower to mid 70s. A few rain showers might sprinkle on us, Thursday. The weekend currently looks mainly dry with highs in the 80s for Independence Day.
