EGG SALAD TRIANGLES 😍
Egg salad triangles are a version of egg sandwiches sliced in triangles. Now that sandwiches are mentioned, this food type was actually invented by a gambler. It is attributed to John Montagu, fourth Earl of Sandwich who is a British statesman and notorious profligate and gambler. As to why he made “a bread-enclosed convenience food” or simply a sandwich is because he doesn’t have to leave his gaming table to take supper. That’s it.
Of course, there’s a lot of sandwich variations present even before his time such as eating bitter herbs inside unleavened matzo bread during a Jewish Passover called Hillel sandwich.
Alright folks, enough with the trivia and let's enjoy cooking time!!!
Don't forget to drop your comments below about your favorite sandwiches.
Mine? Well, Oreo is a sandwich cookie and it’s my favorite. XD But other than sandwich cookies, I personally love these egg salad triangles.
Thank you, Folks.
