Earthy colored Bears can remain on two legs, stroll on the bottoms of their feet, get things with their "fingers," and regularly eat what we eat. This—combined with their capacity to speak with each other through scratch checks left on trees, scents and sounds—sets up a likeness to our own specific manner of life.
