What Is Slonimsky's Thesaurus of Scales & Melodic Patterns?

The soundtrack to this video is me playing guitar, bass, and a small amount of keyboard. Thanks for listening.

Here's a quote from Nicolas Slonimsky's autobiography concerning the Thesaurus: "Parallel with my exploration of musical exotica, an idea began to form in my restless mind: whether an entirely new taxonomy of scales and melodic patterns could not be formed outside major and minor modalities." -Perfect Pitch, p. 166

I have written four guitar instructional books, but only two are currently available to the public (links below). They are probably not the *greatest* guitar books ever written (I'd say they are of medium quality), but they do contain a lot of playing tips, exercises, advice, and some humorous anecdotes for entertainment purposes as well. Thank you for your interest.
