20210624 Love is Love - The Daily Summation

You'll hear people using the expression, "Love is love."

Forgive me for saying so, but if we can't agree on the definition of the word "love," that's a pretty meaningless trope.

If I love someone, I need to be ready to tell them when I feel they're doing themselves harm--even if it means being castigated for so doing.

By the way, "love" DOES NOT equal "sex."

As such you need to be clear on the idea that just because one person claims to "love" another, that DOESN'T MEAN a sexual or marital relationship follows.

Also, love isn't something we feel for just one person. The TYPE of love from person to person may well be different, but to me, it ALMOST ALWAYS engenders sacrifice of one sort or other.
