MEN FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY STAND UNITED IN PROTECTING THE LIFE OF THE UNBORN

Station of the Cross Catholic radio network brings men from all over America to Washington, D.C. for the First National Men’s March to End Abortion

Washington, D.C. – One week before Father’s Day an estimated 300 men and clergy from across America joined in a prayerful and peaceful procession in the nation’s capital to champion the sanctity of life in the first ever Men’s March to end abortion. Dressed in professional attire modeled after Martin Luther King Jr., Catholic and Christian men solemnly and silently marched from the Washington Surgi Clinic Abortion Center to the White House.

Pro-life signs and placards proclaiming the sanctity of life were discouraged so that men marching to end abortion were unified in one banner to express a clear, unified message: stop the mass murder of pre-born children.

This historic men’s march to support life and end abortion was inspired by the Holy Spirit through The Station of the Cross radio host Jim Havens, who broadcasts “The Simple Truth” on ten Catholic radio stations throughout the northeast. The faith-based radio and podcast network’s flagship station, 101.7 WLOF in Buffalo, New York, was instrumental in the strong and passionate turnout in Washington, D.C.

Many men carried crucifixes and clutched rosaries for the approximately one mile walk to Lafayette Square. Directly under the famed monument of the Polish born Revolutionary War hero and devout Catholic Tadeusz Kościuszko, Pro-Life men pledged to win the spiritual war against abortion.

About The Station of the Cross – Catholic Radio Network: Mother Anjelica, Foundress of EWTN, encouraged Jim and Joanne Wright to start their non-profit radio network in the mid-1990’s. There are now ten radio stations in their network across the northeast, stretching from Boston to Buffalo to northeast Ohio. It is headquartered at 101.7 WLOF in Williamsville, New York.

Our Mission: We strive to proclaim the Truth revealed in Jesus Christ, handed on by the power of the Holy Spirit, through the Magisterium of the Catholic Church for the past 2,000 years, and now laid out for us in the Catechism.
