Taliban officially claimed capturing Said Akram, Rohani Baba districts in Paktia as well as capturing outposts in Zurmat, Paktia. Also claimed capturing Khinjan, in Baghlan. Pro-Taliban sources claimed fall of Tala wa Barfak in Baghlan province. Video uploaded by pro-Taliban outlet at least confirms Taliban presence in the area.

Local sources + press confirmed 8 district centers have fallen to Taliban in past 24 hours: Five districts (Said Karam, Ahmad Aba, Rohani Baba, Jani Khel and Dand-e Patan) in Paktia province, and Khinjan in Baghlan, Shamalzai in Zabul and Khash in Badakhshan.

Some military vehicles fell to the Taliban when an outpost near Zurmat in Paktia province was overrun by Taliban militants.
