Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signs three different pieces of legislation to teach children about the Constitution, as well as an giving them an understanding of the "evils of communism and totalitarian ideologies." Also, the bills require the State Board of Education "to conduct annual assessment on intellectual freedom & viewpoint diversity." Also, kids will need to "pass a specified assessment to demonstrate competency in civic literacy."
