Hobo Quotes - Jack London - Primitive Knife Manual

Back in 2009, an elderly gentleman in my community contacted me about putting together a book (he'd heard I was a wannabe writer). He had written quite a few articles on knives (plus other related topics) and said he'd like to collect them into a manual and try to sell it. He gave me a binder full of his material and I agreed to consider it.

That evening I perused all of his articles, which looked promising and interesting, and I confirmed that the unifying theme was his love of making various styles of primitive knives. I told him I would help him, although it would require a large amount of work on my part. I had to rewrite large sections of his material (which he gave me permission to do), plus I had to take many pictures of his knives for inclusion in the book, and I had to do additional research to fill out his articles into more substantial chapters. Of course I also had to type up everything and format it into a reasonably coherent book.

The result was the "Primitive Knife Manual," which you can find here: https://tinyurl.com/yyhoc28g I think it's a decent paperback book. I'm not a knife expert, so I can't really answer any technical questions about the material inside of the manual, and the primary author (the elderly gentleman who contacted me) passed away in 2016. But if you are interested in knives (plus related topics), I hope you will check out the Primitive Knife Manual and hopefully obtain some useful information from reading it. Thanks for your interest.
