Actualizing our Faith

I believe all Christian follow a similar path in their faith development. First we must hear the message, then understand it. Then we learn who Jesus is, what powers he has, and what he desires to do for us. Then we identify with the message and messenger. It is then we develop faith and hope. Many Christians stop here, thinking this is all that's required of us. I believe we are expected to move above and beyond mere faith, internalize the message and messenger, and demonstrate the will of God, love. It is in these stages where we solidify our hope.
