Psalm 11 - Refuge in God

6

1 In the LORD I take refuge. How can you say to me: “Flee like a bird into the hills?

2 See! The wicked prepare their bows, precisely adjust the arrows on the strings, to secretly shoot against the upright in heart.

3 If the foundations are broken, what can the righteous do?”

4 But the LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD has his throne in heaven. Your eyes watch everything; watch closely the children of Adam.

5 The LORD tests the righteous, but the wicked and those who love unrighteousness are hated by Him.

6 On the wicked God will rain burning coals and glowing brimstone; searing wind is what you will have.

7 For the LORD is righteous, and loveth righteousness; the righteous will see your face!
