The parable of Lazarus and the rich man

This parable was presented to us by Jesus. He is instructing us on the importance of demonstration love to one another, through the acts of charity and mercy. The rich man found himself in hell, despite faith, because he failed to demonstrate charity and mercy to Lazarus when it was obvious to anyone with eyes he needed. We must demonstrate charity and mercy to one another to realize our hope. Faith alone will not be enough.
