CoalWood, WV: Home of the RocketBoys

CoalWood, West Virginia, the home of the Homer Hickam and The RocketBoys. Homer Hickam was inspired by the space exploration Sputnik. From that moment him and his friends started to build rockets and went to represent their high school in a country wide science fair and won first place. Homer went on to work for Nasa.
