Corona Virus Coincidences?

It seems that two things going on at the same time, according to published reports, is the gain of function of the Corona virus spike proteins and researching of aborted fetal cells for protein and RNA. It's also strange that the patents for the mRNA are connected to researchers at the NIAID who stand to make millions of dollars as reported by ICAN https://www.icandecide.org/ican_covid/covid-19-vaccines-dr-faucis-team-may-personally-profit/
If all these things are correct, then the American people have had the biggest fraud/scam played on them ever in history. It's not like government agencies or government researchers haven't done similar things in the past. There most definitely needs to be an investigation.
