The Bird is the Word

Well trained? Most definitely. Certainly smart as far as the whole of the animal kingdom is concerned, but the parameters for “smart” depend on what you’re trying to measure. Does “smart” require creativity? If so, birds aren’t very smart. If it requires encyclopedic knowledge, then birds are the opposite of smart, because this bird doesn’t even understand that those rings are purple, green, and orange.
