A COUNTRY SPEAKS OF JFK. BY FRANK DECARO. Read by Lauri DECARO SHORTER.

Lauri's interpretation:

Ever since I can remember, my Dad had a special interest in politics and was always concerned about what was happening in his country.  (I should mention that he served as a machinist in the Navy during WWII).   His dedication to God and country has surely rubbed off on me.  As I read this poem during today's current events, I realize how apparent it was back then to my Dad exactly what President Kennedy's mission was all about.  He knew that President Kennedy was a man who truly cared about the people; that he had seen first hand the darkness and evil that caused humans to suffer in every way.  He knew the CIA and other government agencies were working against the people and not for the people and that President Kennedy was determined to expose it all.  My Dad recognized the fact that President Kennedy's efforts were all for the good of mankind but unfortunately, he was up against the well oiled, ominous machine; aka the Cabal.  Despite this, he always moved forward, always "heeding mankind's call."  A truly impressionable and GREAT President, indeed.
