Turtle sizing up climbing a tree 😂

When the world responded to COVID-19 by closing boarders and travel, I was on vacation in Amman, Jordan.
My flights where cancelled as the airport was closed in Jordan even though American Airlines kept rebooking and rebooking my flights.
While I waited for a flight organized by the Canadian embassy, (joint venture with other embassies) which also cost me a small fortune ($5,000), I was able to decompress from what was happening and spend time with this turtle.
I called the turtle Fides, because I Googled my way into thinking it’s a she and her personality demanded a strong name.
She lives in the courtyard at the Airbnb that I stayed at.
She has been injured when she was younger and lost her foot, that’s when the owner of the Airbnb found her and brought her to his house.
