Savanna elephants are the biggest subspecies of elephant. They are effectively recognized by their extremely enormous ears—which permit them to transmit overabundance warmth—and front legs which are discernibly more than the rear legs. They are found all through the lush fields and bushlands of Africa. Savanna elephants live in eastern and southern Africa, where the most elevated densities are found in Botswana, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Namibia, Mozambique and South Africa.
