Going solar | Berlin set to make solar panels obligatory for new buildings

The Solar Act has been passed by the Senate of Berlin, requiring the installation of solar-power panels on the roofs of new buildings, as well as existing ones in the event of renovation. The law includes hefty penalties for violations and is set to come into effect from 2023.
