Dying cicadas nourish aquatic life

Brood X has one last contribution to make this year as its members, their romantic journey complete, begin to die. Cicada expert Dr. Gene Kritsky says the bodies of these bugs provide a nutrient boost to aquatic organisms, including algae and frogs.
