A hot day ahead, as we wind down the last few days of Spring! Temperatures will soar to the upper 80s and low 90s. Winds will be breezy, out of the west, gusting up to 25mph. This poses a Fire Weather Watch for the Northwoods this afternoon as the dew points begin to drop and the air becomes dry. Saturday we are looking at a few rumbles of thunder in the early morning hours, winding down and clearing out to sunny skies by the afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler, in the upper 70s, with calm winds. Summer officially begins on Sunday! The Summer Solstice occurs at 10:32 PM Sunday evening, Happy Father's Day! Rain chances do return Sunday afternoon, so make your outdoor plans early. Next week will be much cooler with below normal high temps for a change.
