this will prevent the clamshell from coming apart and doing the work twice

This is quick takedown to actuator motor repair.
Do not spend hundreds at the dealer when you can buy a $6 motor and repair the power door lock yourself. 30 min

I didn't show how to put things back together because it's the opposite of the takedown.

Remember where everything goes. Before you start, take a mirror and look inside your door, esp to see how the YELLOW hinge hooks onto your door lock unit when putting back together

EBay part : Mabuchi Nichibo Flat Shaft - Standard Length Motor FC-280PC-22125

Flat Shaft = HALF CIRCLE

Standard length = Short length
(Do not buy Long length or else you will have to cut it, no big deal if you have a cutting tool)
