Gold mine? Wawayanda State Park - Now she got lost!

Welcome back! We ended up at #Wawayanda State Park in this trip at a beautiful time of year. The #autumn #leaves were changing and the views surrounding #WawayandaLake were gorgeous. We started off by visiting the #historicfurnace at the park before heading back to start the #WilliamHoeferlinTrail or the blue trail. The falling leaves made for peaceful sounds to listen to while walking. Then, when walking onto an orange dotted trail, we came across #horse #poop, a massive pile, before Chris almost stepped on a #frog. Good thing it moved. Pretty sure Ola got us #lost :), but we did accidentally cross into #NewYork before turning around back to #NewJersey. After walking what felt like forever, we came across #ruins of a building and toward the #AppalachianTrail. We took the trail a short way to #KazmarPond which had no water any longer since the #dam was dismantled in 2018. Lastly, we continued on and saw a shelter for hikers of the Appalachian Trail with insufficient accommodations :). We stopped for lunch in #Harriman State Park at #SilverMineLake when passing it by complete happenstance.
