Rangaroon is a relatively new addition to the Darjeeling hills' tourism map. It is a tea garden and a nearby community located near Darjeeling. The location, which is around 20 kilometres from Darjeeling town, has a beautiful view of the Himalayas and hills. A new road is being built that will reduce the trip to less than 10 kilometres once completed.
