Birch Bay Vacation 2020 Day 2

Day two of our 2020 summer vacation at Birch Bay Washington had us doing a lot of kayaking, exploring, looking for rocks for Heather to paint, adventuring, oh! and Camden peeing in the ocean. Camden also found a giant toothpick that an irresponsible giant had simply discarded onto the beach. It was gross. The tide is such that for hundreds of yards the water stays about 2-5 feet deep which is perfect for safe fun in the water.

This vacation is about three weeks after Heather had brain surgery. Her energy level is not very high. She's mostly relaxing and healing. The sunsets at Birch Bay are to die for and so beautiful. Our friends Jay, Leslie, Henry, Carter, Haley, and Annalisa were able to spend some time with us as well.

Spending this quality time together with our family and friends is the most important thing to us. One never knows when life will drastically steer you in another direction so make the most of it!

I love my kids and my wife. Cherish this time you have on earth.
