.The origin of the Arabian horse came in the pre-Islamic myths that the horses fled after the collapse of the Ma’rib dam to the wilderness and became savage. So one day, five Arabs: Roots, Shuya, swimmer, old woman and traps, went out to the country of Najd, and they saw five horses and their vines, so they defrauded to hunt them and ambush them near the water resource where they set wooden traps. When she fell into an ambush, they left her until hunger and thirst took hold of her, and in the meantime they frequented her and became close to her until she became accustomed to them and became accustomed to them, until they became accustomed to her and rode her with the intention of their rackets. During their return, they ran out of supplies, and they were hungry, so they agreed to race towards their tents and slaughter the mare that was late. But after the race, the last horse rider refused to slaughter his horse, and refused to let the race be repeated. Then another one, other than the first horse, was delayed, and its knight refused to slaughter it, and so on until they all refused to slaughter their horses. On the fifth day, a herd of antelopes appeared, so we spared them the slaughter, and thus the five mares were delivered. The mare that he used to ride on the walls of Saqlawiyah, to smooth her hair, and the one he was riding a little bit, was called Umm Shank, due to the twisting of her hock. As for a swimming mare, it was called Shuwayma because of the moles it had, and the fourth was called a trick for eyeliner and the old man was riding it. As for the fifth one that Shark was riding, it was called Abayah because the cloak of Shark fell on her tail, and she kept raising it with its tail and bringing it back throughout the race. The Book of Horse Genealogy by Ibn al-Kalbi was not devoid of some legends about the origin of the Arabian horse, as he mentioned that all Arab horses trace their origins back to the ridings.. Myths claim that he is from the remnants of the horses of Solomon, peace be upon him, and that the stallions of the Arab horses are his descendants, and that Solomon, Peace be upon him, he inherited from his father a number of horses. Al-Kalbi narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them, what he said: “The first thing that spread among the Arabs from these horses was that a people of the Azd from the people of Amman came to Suleiman bin Dawood, peace be upon them, after he married Balqis, the Queen of Sheba, and asked him what they needed. Whoever ordered their religion and their world, until they fulfilled what they wanted from that, and they were about to leave, so they said, O Prophet of God: Our country is vast and we (we have run out) of provisions, so he passed us provisions that would bring us to our country, So Solomon gave them a horse of David’s horse, and said: This is your provision! When you go down, carry a man on him and give him an expedition (spear) and wood and water your fire until he comes to you with hunting.. So the people did not go down to your house unless they carried on their horse a man with his hand expelled, and they cut wood and watered their fire; Then he would bring them what suffices them, and in addition to that, they rejoiced in him, so the Azdis said: This horse of ours has no name except that it increased the knees. Ibn al-Kalbi adds that the first mare that spread among the Arabs “increased the knees.” When I heard about it, the Banu Taghlib came to the Azdins and sought them out, so we produced the haggis for them, and it was the best of those who increased the knees. When Bakr bin Wael heard about it, they came to Banu Taghlib and asked them, and it resulted from the diamond haggis, and it was better than the haggis. And from his offspring are crooked, virtuous, crow, and trailing Wasil.
