What is the right place in all of this for humans to appear and augment/redesign or build brand new. Our effort here is to show the level of understanding and manipulation we've developed over the last decades, and illustrate the interplay between computer technology and life itself. This helps to summarize our survey of molecular engineering and powerful computers and advanced software that support it. Remember, DNA is software... Code.
