Waking up to many without power as severe thunderstorms tore through the area. Appleton clocking a 57mph wind gust and Green Bay at 52mph. Trees have come down on to power lines and blocking 57 and Mathey Rd near Sturgeon Bay. Drive with caution this morning as temperatures are cool and crisp in the 50's. Today abundant sunshine will dominate most of the day, with breezy northwest winds gusting up to 35mph. Chances do exist for showers and a thunderstorm popping up after 2pm. The risk for severe is low, but we could see pea size hail and heavy rainfall with these. Tuesday and Wednesday, highs will be closer to normal, reaching the upper 70s, under mostly sunny skies. The heat and humidity is back Thursday and Friday as highs soar back to the upper 80s, low 90s, with a chance of showers and storms.
