A prompt action by the driver of a train saved life of 15 elephants crossing railways tracks. The train driver noticed the elephants crossing the railway track, and applied the emergency brake instantly to save them. The incident happened near West Bengal's Alipurduar. Relevantly, according to wildlife experts, India has the highest number of train accidents involving elephants in the world. But thank God this time the elephants were saved.
