Conflicting Embryology in the Quran and Hadith?

In ancient medical texts, we see various theories about where reproductive fluid is produced and stored. Is it in the brain? Spine? The whole body? And do both women and men have reproductive fluid? How do they contribute to the embryo? The Quran and Hadith interact with these theories in apparently different ways. We also briefly survey the modern development of scientific miracle claims in the Muslim world.
