IACH's annual safety day goes back to 2005 when it was still operating in the legacy facility. Ron Knight, safety and occupational health manager, tells the story of how a day-long safety fair became a staple in IACH's efforts to educate staff on its most common injuries at work and home. One of the educational modules that continue presenting at Safety Day since 2005 is how to safely dispose of needles or sharps at home. IACH's Safety Day is scheduled for June 25, 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., in front of the hospital's main entrance.
