Courage to 'Finish Strong' -- Competition Winner Tells Her Story

After performing poorly on one event, CPT Megan Balcom thought about giving up in the middle of the competition. But the encouragement she got from friends to 'finish strong' made the difference in spite of the setback. Balcom, a physical therapist with Irwin Army Community Hospital, went up against stronger, more knowledgeable Soldiers fully capable of taking the title of Regional Best Leader were it not for her incomparable desire to win.
