Shia LaBeouf is an American actor, performance artist, and filmmaker. He played Louis Stevens in the Disney Channel series Even Stevens, a role for which he received a Young Artist Award nomination in 2001 and won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2003. He made his film debut in The Christmas Path (1998).
Back then, it was easy to assume that Shia was going to be this generation's Tom Cruise; a blank slate, castable in any role that involved fighting bad guys and running. But anger and alcohol issues appear to have plagued the actor since the beginning; his first arrest was back in 2005, when he was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after a confrontation with his neighbor.

Since then, LaBeouf has been involved in multiple clashes with the law. In the last decade, he’s been accused of trespassing, drunk driving, assault, harassment, and plain old disorderly conduct.
