Watch the Water

Watch the water, the rise and fall
heaven and hell have heard the call
the tides are turning, ebb and flow
heed the prophets then you’ll know

Dam the water, damn the plan to accelerate
time to wipe clean and have a fresh slate
flush out toxins mostly unseen
unbeknownst to those not keen

The tidal waves have hit the lands
washing sins like grains of sands
a cleansing of all can now take place
returning back to a state of grace

The stormy seas have taken their toll
many warriors fulfilled their role
the ship has sailed for higher ground
Trump-ets blare with a mighty sound

A re-berthing of all sovereign souls
liberty at last to reach our goals
sail away to the ends of the earth
deserving all for what it’s worth
