Hike Tahoe-Salmon Spawn season-Taylor Creek to Fallen Leaf Dam

Come along for a hike along Taylor Creek, from the Visitor's Center to Fallen Leaf Lake Dam...It's the fall and that means it's time for the Kokanee salmon to swim upstream to spawn...Watch closely and in the first minute you'll see 3 salmon ford an upstream segment and you'll also see a Merganser duck swallow a salmon whole...Toward the end, you'll see several salmon try to jump over the dam into Fallen Leaf Lake...This video, the first in a series on Lake Tahoe hikes, was shot in October & November
