Wynn Hotel Free Show: Lake of Dreams, Mermaid

This show lasts the length of 1 pop song. Done to the music of Sting - Every little thing she does, it consists of a Mermaid swimming and dancing with lights, sounds and special effects. Near the end the show - the mermaid's head comes out of the water, and at first, this is pretty cool, but then she sorta justs sits there, staring at you - which gets a little creepy after a few seconds - like an uncomfortable silence vibe. All and all - okay, I was expecting frogs, and got a mermaid...I guess they show a different show each time. I cabbed it over to see it, and it only lasted a few minutes, so to me it was a little let down. The best place to view this - is up on the terrace, unless you are eating/drinking - in the tables and chairs below. There is no charge to view the shows, and you don't have to be staing there. The curved escalators are pretty cool. If you are staying longer for drinks/eating - then you may see multiple different shows, but if not, it doesn't make sense to wait.
