Harris to Visit Border, Unclear When; Texans Seek to Control Own Border Amid Federal Inaction

Vice President Kamala Harris defended her decision to make her first trip to Mexico and Guatemala instead of visiting the U.S.–Mexico border. While she hasn't made a trip to the border since becoming vice president, Harris said that she has visited the border before and she will do so again. But she did not say when.

Meanwhile, Texans living near the border are becoming fed up with the surge of illegal crossings, human smuggling, and threats from illegal aliens trespassing on their property.
