I love simple songs of worship and Keith Green was masterful at writing such pieces. Oh Lord, You’re Beautiful is a song that strips away pretenses and simply leads a listener into a place of adoration and praise. And in response to seeing Christ so clearly we sing “I want to take Your word and shine it all around.” It’s a response that motivates us to share what we have found in Him. To let the unlooking world see and desire this “beauty” as well. The beauty of the Lord which draws us to seek Him, to follow Him, and to ultimately lay everything else aside so we can pursue Him.
