Colonial Pipeline Chief Executive Joseph Blount on Tuesday during a Senate hearing defended his decision to pay ransom after last month's cyberattack that the FBI attributed to a gang called DarkSide, which caused a days-long shutdown that led to a spike in gasoline prices and panic buying.
