Paul performs lifting and placing tasks while wearing an unpowered exoskeleton. (The legs had passive--spring--supports.) This was done at NIST as a first step to developing measures to assess exoskeletons. Researchers monitored speed, accuracy, and heart rate and recorded the tests.
