how to train a puppy
When training is started at 7 to 8 weeks of age, use
methods that rely on positive reinforcement and gentle
teaching. Puppies have short attention spans, so training
sessions should be brief, but should occur daily. Puppies
can be taught to “sit,” “down,” and “stand” using a
method called food-lure training.

What is the first thing you should train your puppy?
capturing
The first method is called capturing. Stand in front
of your puppy holding some of his dog food or treats.
Wait for him to sit – say “yes” and give him a treat.
Then step backwards or sideways to encourage him to
stand and wait for him to sit.
