Welcome To Grumpy Acres

We'd like to welocme you to our little corner of the world; Grumpy Acres. Our journey began many years ago, when we looked at the world around us. What we saw was a world supported by an increasingly fragile system, fueld by cheap debt, imported goods and easy to get, low quality food. We started trying to live a life which would afford us more freedom from this system. The leg of our journey that we are on now started in 2015, when we bought a small house and some land, and decided to start our own homestead. What's happened since then has been liberating and life changing. We are no way near our destination, though. That's where this channel, and you come in.

We'll be posting new content weekly. We'll take you on a tour of the homestead, and introduce you to all the characters that make up our daily lives. We'll show you how we do things; what we've done right, and what we've done wrong. We'll provide you with how to's and homestead product reviews. Anf from time to time, we'll even interview homestaders that we know, so you can see how they do things. At the end of the day, we think you'll find it entertaining and informative. Most importantly, we hope you find it mativating and inspirational.
