Where Have We Been???, 3602

Good afternoon, I’m still reporting on the coup.
I’m so sorry to have been away for so long. In my 15 years on YouTube, this is the longest I’ve been away and this is why.
About a week ago, just before the start of the Memorial Day holiday, I accidentally signed on from another Google account that didn’t have access to YouTube and didn’t realize it. I just thought YouTube had maliciously cut me off for the Memorial Day weekend but, I was wrong. My webmaster, and technical director, Stephen, just figured it out, so now, after 9 days off the air, I’m back.
The fix for this if you find you can view your YouTube account, but can’t post to it, check to see if the Google account you are using actually has permissions to access YouTube as an owner or manager. And if that doesn’t do it, Stephen can fix it at his going rate, so send me an email.
Anyway, since we thought YouTube had done something bad, Beth and I decided to make good use of the time out – that is, we moved my office – which is a gigantic and time-consuming operation.
So here I am in the hall of mirrors now with about 50% more room and loving it. So, YT gave me back access to my channel 3 days ago – no explanation – just turned it back on late one night - but by then we were committed to the move and so it’s taken an additional 3 days to get this machine up and running, and so here we are.
ANNOUNCEMENT – we are going to do our first livestream in several weeks tonight at 19:00 hours – that’s 7pm – on YouTube, with a special guest. Beth will be on from my old office, which you’ll recognize. Don’t miss it.
