Studies have shown that yoga is a great way to give your immune system a boost. Along with getting enough sleep and eating healthy, yoga is a great addition to your overall wellness regimen. Antibiotics and over the counter medications may help you recover from certain ailments but they don’t strengthen your immune system. Yoga reduces stress’ reaction in the body, reduces inflammation, strengthens the nervous system, it helps the flow of the lymphatic system which eliminates toxins, aids in digestion and blood circulation, and much more. Yoga is not a substitute for medical treatment but it is good for preventative care and a great way to stay healthy and full of energy.
“Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.” 3 Jn 1:2
