A video that shows policemen beating an unarmed man with lathis is widely circulating on social media. It is being claimed that he is an ambulance driver who killed patients in Telangana’s Nizamabad Hospital by obstructing their oxygen supply because his source of income was transporting dead bodies to crematoriums.

Fact:
A video of Maharashtra policemen thrashing a BJP Maharashtra youth leader for vandalising and creating a ruckus in the ICU of a hospital after the death of a patient was given a false anti-Muslim spin. A story was manufactured that a Muslim ambulance driver was found murdering patients in a Telangana hospital for cutting off their oxygen supply. The false claim added that he did so to make money by transporting dead bodies to crematoriums.
